Sent at 1:15pm, 11/25/24UW Information Technology is continuing to monitor a major Microsoft 365 platform outage, including Outlook Exchange Online email & calendaring and Microsoft Teams, which is impacting users worldwide. Thank you for your patience while Microsoft actively works to resolve this issue.
Microsoft has reported that systems are beginning to be restored. Full restoration will take time as updates propagate across their infrastructure.

Users may see intermittent issues with Microsoft Office 365 services including:
- Outlook on the web
- Outlook desktop client

UW Information Technology is aware of a problem with Microsoft products that is causing problems accessing UW Office 365 Email and tools that began at approximately 6:30 am on 11/25/2024.Users may be unable to access Exchange Online using the following impacted connection methods:
- Outlook on the web
- Outlook desktop client
- Representational State Transfer (REST)
- Exchange ActiveSync (EAS)
Engineers are monitoring Microsoft service status page and will notify the UW when access to service will be restored.
Next update will be provided at 12:00pm unless more information becomes available.
